Every year I promise myself I'll get better about documenting our winter, and every year I'm reminded that we don't actually DO anything all winter. It's pretty boring around these parts. Valentine's Day, as usual, was pretty much a non-event, thanks largely to me and not to Darreck. He's definitely the romantic one in this household. Max enjoyed his first elementary school celebration, but even that only warranted five minutes of enthusiasm. We're not a very lively bunch under 50 degrees, apparently.
However, the boys keep getting bigger, Luke keeps talking more, and Jack keeps stubbornly refusing to sleep through the night. One thing still remains- they're just so dang cute! Yep, that pretty much sums up all of February.
To explain the random pictures:
Darreck and the boys keep riding around the house on Darreck's long board in anticipation of spring.
Luke keeps doing his hair with hand soap and drawing on his body with markers. Yeah. It's super fun.
Everyone in the house got sick, EXCEPT for Luke! Don't know how that happened, but check out the pic of Jack looking adorably miserable.
Max and I went out on a mommy/Maxi date during quiet time and had a blast! Just ignore the horrible selfie that makes me look like I have a double chin.
And, of course, Jack's chunky cheeks always warrant a few pictures.
