Thanksgiving

We had two great days of Thanksgiving this year. Thursday we went over to my parent's house for the meal and then went to a friend's house for pie with a lot of our friends from church. Thursday night I went Christmas shopping with my mom and dad, and finished my entire Christmas list. Go me!!! Friday we went over to Hale's house for the traditional dinner there. It's been fun having Darreck around- holidays off is one of the best parts of his job- and we've enjoyed having some low-stress family time.

We have a lot to be thankful for, as usual, this year. Thursday, when we went around the table and said what we were thankful for, Darreck said he was glad he didn't have school this year, and I whole-heartily agreed! It's been nice having all his time and attention (aside from work) this past year. Of course, our biggest blessing this year has been welcoming Luke into our family. He's such a sweet addition to our family, and we're so blessed to have him :) We are truly indebted to our wonderful Lord for all the blessing He's seen fit to bestow upon us. I only hope that we can be good stewards over the multitude of blessings we have been entrusted with.
