We celebrated (and celebrated and celebrated!) Max's third birthday yesterday. We woke up early to open presents, which included the t-ball set that Max has been begging for ever since he got his bat for Christmas. Then, we picked up his friend Weston and took them to the children's museum and then to McDonald's for lunch. After attempting (unsuccessfully) a nap, we went out for dinner and to pick out all the party supplies for Max's family party on Monday, and then daddy took us out to Dairy Queen before bed. Phew, that makes me tired just writing it! We ate a ton of junk food and had a ton of fun- exactly what a birthday should be! And, the fun doesn't stop here. Grandma-Great is coming home from her mission this weekend, so we're going to do another celebration Monday with the entire family.
Some quick info on Max right now: his favorite activity is baseball, we still can't tell if he's right or left handed (huh...), his favorite song is the hymn Choose the Right, his favorite movie is Rookie of the Year, he doesn't have a favorite food but he loves, loves, loves fruit. Max can be very quiet when he's in a large group, but he never ever stops talking at home. His favorite goal to talk about right now is starting preschool in the fall, and he can finally go because he's potty trained! He has a sweet disposition, wants to be a garbage man when he grows up, and is a wonderful friend. We love our little man more than we could ever express, and we're so happy he's in our home!
