Luke at 9 Months

Luke hit the big 9 months on the 29th, and we love, love, love our wonderful little man. He went to the doctor today and got a clean bill of health and a shot, poor guy. He's weighing in at 19 pounds 9 ounces and 28 inches. He's also babbling a ton and saying ma-ma-ma and da-da-da over and over, even though he's not quite sure what it refers to. He's also super close to crawling! He can get on all fours all by himself and rock, but it's becoming more evident that he's anxious to be on the move. As for sleeping, he's still horrible at it! He wakes up at least 3 times each night, which is compounded by the teething and head cold he's been dealing with lately. Once again, poor little man!

Above all else, Luke is the happiest baby I have ever seen. He's inquisitive and easily entertained. He's mostly complacent to observe the world around him with wide eyes and an open heart. That is the miracle of babies, especially our Lukey-Lou. His favorite person is still his brother, with the cat as a close second. However, he's also started to notice where mom and dad are in the room, and he's started to care when we're not there. I love to be loved like that!

Here's some pictures from our most recent day at the park, since it's finally starting to act like spring around here. We're looking forward to many more days just like this in the coming months :)
