Everyone in the rest of Great Falls goes back to school tomorrow, and even though Darreck's been back for over a week, we still decided to celebrate since Darreck had the day off. We started the morning feeding the ducks at Gibson Park, came home for a nap, went to the spray park, got some chicken and had a picnic at Ryan dam, then capped off the night by a family bike ride. Pretty much a perfect day!
One of my biggest pet peeves is when others (military families mostly!) complain about Great Falls, especially when they spend 90% of their time on base (and the rest at Walmart). I love our hometown for so many reasons. There are so many beautiful, family friendly places to go- especially in the summer. We've had so much fun on the River's Edge Trail, at Voyagers' games, at Giant Springs, and playing on the greenbelt behind our house. We have such a great life, and we're so lucky to live where we do.
